Basic characteristics of PTFE materials:
1. Insulation: Not affected by environment and frequency, with a volume resistance of up to 1018 ohms • cm, low dielectric loss, and high breakdown voltage.
2. Heat resistance: It has little effect on temperature and has a wide temperature range, and can be used at temperatures of -190~260 ℃. It has significant thermal stability and can work at freezing temperatures without embrittlement, and does not melt at high temperatures.
3. Self lubrication: With a smaller friction coefficient in plastic, it is an ideal oil-free lubricating material.
4. Moisture resistance: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) surface is free from water and oil, and it is not easy to get stuck in solution during production operations. If there is a small amount of dirt stuck, it can be easily removed by simply wiping. Short downtime, saving labor hours and improving work efficiency.
5. Surface non adhesion: Known solid materials cannot adhere to the surface and are a type of solid material with low surface energy. Atmospheric aging resistance, radiation resistance, and low permeability: Long term exposure to the atmosphere, surface and performance remain unchanged
6. Non combustible: Oxygen limiting index below 90.
7. Wear resistance: It has excellent wear resistance under high loads. Under a certain load, it has the dual advantages of wear resistance and non adhesion.
8. Corrosion resistance: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is almost resistant to drug corrosion and can protect parts from any type of chemical corrosion.
